Was expecting this to be a much better product. The jaws are flimsy, spring mechanism weak and it sticks closed most of the time. Wish I could return for a full refund

My purchase was last year and I wanted to go through a few seasons before reviewing. I have 2 dogs double the fun ha ha ha... I love the fact that my back no longer hurts after I use it. The teeth are set perfectly and the poop does not fall out. Some previous reviews stated it did work in tall grass. I have found if you leave the teeth close insert into the grass and then open, it grabs and pulls the poop right through the grass and does not rip the grass from the ground.
It's different and takes a little getting used to; I would purchase another in a heartbeat!!!

Another good score! I actually bought two of these items. One for me and one for my Mom. They keep the yards poop free!! Works great, lightweight and it actually shows that you care about your enviroment and your dog!! Thanks for the great deals!!

This is the best darn thing man ever invented for dog lovers. It is so easy to pick up poop and whatever other messes your dogs happend to make. I've been using it for 5-6 months, it's holding up great. I have two large dogs and this gets used twice daily.

I bought one of these about two years ago after having tried several models of scoopers. This one stands apart for a few reasons.
First off, the claws on the end really work. You can get under the "load" and get it all without smashing it half way through, or having to try to sweep it into some sort of tray, smearing it all over in the process.
Secondly, it's aluminum, it doesn't rust. I don't want a tool covered in poop in my garage. Mine has been outside in Oregon the whole time I've owned it. It rains here ALOT.
Lastly, it is actually good quality. The metal components look over an eighth inch thick and the plastic parts are durable. The rubber stoppers on the claws did go quick, but they aren't essential to the tool. I imagine the negative reviews on here are for defective items. Shame on you for buying it from the cheapest guy with no customer service. I got mine from [...] They always answer the phone or get back to me quick, and they take care of me.
