It's nicer than it looks February 7, 2010 Christy L. Rothchild (Enterprise, KS) It doesn't look like much, I got this about 2 weeks before our first snow and it's been used a couple times since. It's pushed 4-6" snow down the driveway. My only beef with it is that you can't angle the blade. But it beats scooping with a regular shovel.
Wonderful Ergonomic Speed Shovel & Great Suncast Pusher Snow Shovel March 2, 2009 Khanna 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It took big, guy over 6ft.,using Vertex® Ergonomic Snow Shovel: and 5-footer wife, using the Suncast SF1850 22-Inch Big Scoop Snow Shovel with Wear Strip, less than an hour at an easy pace, to clear almost 200 ft. long, 2-car driveway of 6 inches of snow. No muscle strain or backaches afterwards. It used to take us many hours and aching backs with ordinary shovels. We are very grateful for these laborsavers, if not lifesavers!
I hope they last long and will update on durability.
Update: We read the complaints in some reviews and we re-enforced the Ergonomic Shovel cap. It got harder to use on deep 12" plus snow but the Suncast Snow Scoop muscled on.
Not worth it February 24, 2005 Ravi D. Rao (CA) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
Too many weak points. The assembly instructions are not very good. The wheels keep popping off, and you have to stop, find the plastic caps (which are white, btw) in the snow to put them back on. Just buy something else.
One more failed snow shovel June 15, 2004 Will (Colorado Springs, CO USA) 20 out of 21 found this review helpful
This was one of about 4 different shovels my wife bought over the past 3 years. It's a good idea with too many faults. Because it is an assembled item, it has too many weak points making it almost flimsy. Two days after we received this shovel, my neighbor bought a Snowmaster Snowscoop, it is what these guys should have made, one piece orange scoop with a wheel...best snow shovel ever. Check them out first...wish I did. Happy shoveling!!
Snow shovel April 22, 2004 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I wonder how I lived so long without it! I'm able to clear my driveway in half the time. On heavy snow I still use my snow blower but the shovel is a lot quicker most days. I like the metal blade - it scrapes right down to the driveway.
